Especially online, we cannot know what a person has been through in life! Everyone has had joys & tragedies, good & bad experiences, successes & failures, love, heartbreak; in this we have no choice... But it is the hardest parts of life which build strong character in us, in this we do have a choice... We can allow the hard things to mold us into a bitter, angry person, OR we can allow those things to make us a strong, more compassionate & loving person.
The import thing about living a good & honest life is, that a person learns above all, to 'not' judge others. Appearances are often deceiving, it is not how a person looks, the tone of their skin, how they dress or even how someone expresses their self creatively; these are not the marks of the quality of a person's character. Instead it is the way someone treats others which speaks of who they are as a person.
When we look at another person we certainly cannot tell what a person has been through. In addition, we do not even know what good that a person contributes to this world. For in most cases, the most honest, compassionate, kind, & giving people remain true unsung champions of mankind... What these heroes give to the world, is usually given quietly, in private, without receiving any accolades.
It is human nature to be somewhat judgemental, but the next time you meet someone & feel that desire to judge because of what you think you see... PAUSE, REWIND, & REFLECT, on 'your own' imperfections, then wait,,, It is important that all of us give time for a person to prove who they really are, It is important to look for the inside to shine through, to look for a person's true spirit their character & that takes time. Don't be narrow minded, or you just could miss out on being blessed by the love others want & have to share with you.
